Good benefits reasonable hours if you work smart and set limits can work from home friendly coworkers good intranet with tons of information

Cons

Lack of ambition amongst coworkers. Many people are very comfortable with their jobs and set in their ways. Not a good place for a young and ambitious person. Lack of excitement. Offices are very plain. Cafeterias are closed after lunch. Is English the language of business here? sometimes I wonder

Pros

Competitive salaries with the market. A significant number of talented people to work with and learn from. A diverse culture within every department. Great benefits for health and finance.

Cons

Uses the GE philosophies on employee reviews using a bell curve to evaluate and a mandatory number of employees must be in the top range to be promoted and the bottom in a high pressure situation to quit or be fired. The average or core personnel are given the carrot of still getting a bonus, but no promotion or raise. The environment leads to a lot of back stabbing and almost no collaboration between peers who fear giving someone an advantage over them during reviews. One of the most dysfunctional places I have ever worked.

Nice Gym. Nice intranet. Nice heath center

Cons

A lot of management layers, tons of managers, VP, senior VP, GM.. You are supposed to work on weekend, night time by paying yourself boardband. Totally lose you life. Ranking system makes everyone is your enemy, not going to share information and complete/trap each other. Your rank is totally based on your manager taste. No career growth. No inflation adjustment and no raise. Current layoff and outsource all USA jobs to India.
