Pros

Turnover is high so you may be able to get your foot in the door. You may be able to get promoted given higher turnover assuming you do what you have to do and some.

Cons

New compensation plans are a lot lower these days even for higher ups. Your base can only go up like 10% or so when moving up a level which the company and all don’t advertise. Very toxic team managers who are stuck on zoom meetings all day everyday and cannot police the nasty toxic teammates who don’t have professionalism. New ai project Aurora going to eliminate more jobs given automation. Many higher ups are leaving as well which tells you there are much better opportunities elsewhere that pay a lot more.

Pros

Great work-life balance and supportive team environment. Reasonable expectations and low stress compared to peers. Good place to learn and maintain stability.

Cons

Compensation growth is relatively slow. Career progression can feel a bit stagnant at times. Not the best option if you’re optimizing for pay or rapid advancement.
