Pros

Although I worked for outside of United States, many HR recruiters took a look my resume because Citigroup is a really big name. This company will open the door for the another great opportunity.

Cons

HR really doesn't have any power, so this causes unfairness between departments in the company. Now, I moved on to different industry and realized that the Citigroup culture was too aggressive.

Pros

People are willing to help and get work done.

Cons

Citi Never Sleeps. Workaholics are promoted. Care little for work-life balance. Employee performance is heavily dependent on perception of seniors than actual work.

Pros

- Personal banking benefits - Global opportunities - Pretty good pay for the technology sector overall - Almost impossible to get fired

Cons

- Senior management all too happy to accept mediocre performance - Very hard to get things done - Working in technology is completely thankless - For all the talk of a meritocracy, getting on and getting paid more is very tough - Truthfulness gets you into trouble
