Pros

There seems to be some places in company that still have a good working environment but these are now rare. The pressure that has hit the banking industry will probably make this even less of an occurance. I worked at the Weehawken location my first year and totally loved it. I think that they will be a good company again but it will be a tough couple of years.

Cons

Sometimes the pressure to work "extra hours" got a little out of hand.

Pros

CItigroup does offer a fair work/life balance - with management approval employees can generally work one a week from home, I never have a problem taking off a little early when there is an event at my child's school, etc. Benefits and vacation time are better than many other companies.

Cons

Communication from management is poor to dishonest, employees get better scoop from the WSJ. Tenured employees are paid less than new hires at the same level. Corporate culture is very harsh, political, and siloed
