Pros

Stability was a key factor prior to this economic meltdown. Now, it is difficult to come up with a reason other than $

Cons

The burdensome processes made it arduous to be productive. There is just too much bureaucracy

Pros

Brand recognition, training, resources, facilities

Cons

Smith Barney definitely suffers from a bit of identity crisis being involved with such a large organization. There are definite redundancies when it comes to wealth management within Citi. This causes a bit of internal competition in some ways. Marketing compliance was an absolute beast to deal with as well.

Pros

There seems to be some places in company that still have a good working environment but these are now rare. The pressure that has hit the banking industry will probably make this even less of an occurance. I worked at the Weehawken location my first year and totally loved it. I think that they will be a good company again but it will be a tough couple of years.

Cons

Sometimes the pressure to work "extra hours" got a little out of hand.
