Pros

Best reasons to work at Citi are for the name recognition mainly. There are many good people within the company. There are career opportunities within and you do advance. You can get good exposure depending on how often you deal with clients.

Cons

Some downsides are - Hard to find balance between work and home, work too many hours, very demanding clients and management.

Pros

The firm is number 1 or 2 in most of the businesses in which it operates, giving its employees access to the most sophisticated clients, significant deal flow and unmatched internal resources.

Cons

The downsides are well publicized: a behemoth of 250,000 people sometimes uncoordinated, sometime competing against each other, and (so far) lacking the internal risk control necessary to keep our heads above water when things get tough.

Big company, good pay and benefits, with many opportunities, diversity enforced.

Cons

Long hours, fierce competition internally, lack of direction during mergers.
