      1. Better paying then most of the similar offshoring companies(Infy, TCS,Patni). 2. Have some good satisfied employees. 3. Have some very good client base. 4. Provides opportunity to get geen card done. 5. Benefits like relocation assistance and cola are better than similar offshoring companies.

      Cons

      1. Very huge company with over 100k employees. 2. Not a place for exceptional people, every one gets treated the same, so you cannot climb the ladder any faster no matter how talented you are. 3. years of experience not the quality of experience defines your promotion.

      The job I interviewed for was Great! Able to work in a new industry/vertical market Exposure to a new culture (India) International experience

      Cons

      I am an American Citizen. At Cognizant, I was a third-class citizen. The job I performed was not the one I interviewed for. Less that a year after I arrived, all my managers left. The managers who took their places did not communicate. While they responded to my questions, I did not receive any substantive information. There was no way to figure out where I fit in their organization or how I might succeed. More than once I was "set up to fail."
