Pros

They are flexible for time off

Cons

After the merge with microsoft they have under cut the small employees and put pressure on the managers to micro manage the employees. We the small employees have had our time off cut, they took away volunteer time, we have not had a raise, they have taken away our incentive plan, they have taken away our ability to work outside of our home when we need to, they took teams messenger ability's away from our phone. If we are 1 minute late for work they can dock us. We are scheduled for 40 hours but have been told to make sure our time sheets are below 40 hours. There have been no advancement opportunities. I inquired about the program they have for reimbursement for certificates outside of work hours and i was told we arent eligible..

Pros

The company is currently hiring, partly because they have driven away over 2/3 of the SFMC team over the last year or so.

Cons

Do you enjoy corporate drudgery and process upon process upon process? This place may be for you! Honestly, there is little to any fun in the day to day and there is soo much pressure to be "big consulting" that the work is almost forgotten. Team members who want to grow and try new things are often overlooked for new employees coming into the business from other places.

Pros

Good place to start out or get back into an IT career in the US Health benefits - good choice and low cost Generous paid leave with vacation, sick, jury & bereavement categories Lots of training & positions with travel available Work at client sites that include many Fortune 100 corps and household name tech companies

Cons

Compensation is below average for most positions (the ones that actually bring in the revenue) Bureaucratic & confusing review & promotion practices Pay raises are based on subjective, esoteric and nonsensical parameters instead of performance Industry leading turnover per position Industry & client experience has been a mixed bag with Cognizant, some prefer to put client site as our experience rather than Cog on our resume. Lives up to all the stereotypes in "If you can't do, teach, and if you're totally clueless, manage."
