Pros

Pay is fair and good

Cons

Mandatory Overtime (No choice, you are having forced overtime without a choice of not coming in extra. Talking 12 hour days for months on end) 30 Minute lunches. They regularly reduce your lunch from 1 hr to 30 minutes, even when working 12 hr shifts. Mandatory Time Off- If you choose not to "voluntarily" sign up for Overtime, they try and send you home? What kind of genius strategy is that? If you dont wanna work 60 hour weeks, we will send you home? Well wouldn't that just make the OT needed to cover worse? Yes, but don't tell these geniuses that. Uncaring when it comes to health- If you have an emergency and have to miss to go to, lets say the ER, or to the hospital in general. Well, get ready to be raked over the coals by leadership.

Pros

Concentix has one leg up... they know how to be one step up above the equivalent to a concentration camp. Understand working for a Government contract that KPI's and reductions in AUX codes that minimise time for self reflection (after a difficult call) or the time to releave one's self after taking call after call, means better statistics for Concentrix, but they actually do a good job in convincing you that you are bad for going to the bathroom or going on a general break. One good point is that we got to speak to a wellness coordinator before Christmas 2020, it was fantastic because she got us to do a breathing exercise that literally calmed me down from the crazy week we all had.

Cons

It's a shame, the training is actually decent with trainer's who actually live and breath concentrix but also the client. You actually form a solid bond with those around you. Come the end of the training, let's smash that bond, split you up and let's never talk of the Concentrix values you've been taught. It actually frightens me that people are told to take less time in a tea or meal or screen based break (like going to the bathroom) so they can read emails and respond than doing so whilst they are on the phone to a customer. The quality of work that these Service Officer's have to do deserves better than that when helping those of the most vulnerable in our community. This is a private company at the end of the day trying to do what public servants can do on 30-50% of the normal wage.

Pros

No micro management and great autonomy. Duvet days to help recuperate.

Cons

Inexperienced senior management, with a lack of understanding on how to manage business change. Changes to the way the business operates aren't clearly communicated and impacts aren't greatly understood until its too late. Slow to react to employee feedback, leaving employees feeling they have no voice or value. Great people are choosing to leave as the morale of the teams plummets.
