Pros

You get paid on time. Facilities were nice.

Cons

Poor non-competitive salary. Employee portion for benefits is high with not great coverage. Employer contribution to 401K is low and doesn't kick in until after 1 year of service. No raises! This is the only company I've ever worked for that does not have a annual merit increase system in place. Unbelievable. As a result of these poor benefits you don't get the most qualified candidates and if you do, they will leave after a short time. Also morale is poor. Lots of overlapping corporate organization with poorly defined roles. Too much focus on financials, not enough focus on both customer and employee satisfaction. Management is too focused up - how can they satisfy the Executives? As opposed to how can I stand up for my employees?

Pros

You receive a paycheck. Co-workers and direct Manager were great. A lot of smart people. Not much else, horrible work experience as a Sales Person.

Cons

You spend hours on reports that management doesn't read. Technology is non-existent. Upper Management is very old school and not changing with the times. They don't know how to operate in Cloud environments and impossible Legal team makes it stressful and difficult to close deals. They will spend, and I'm not exaggerating, hours on conference calls arguing the most minute details. Lost several deals due to simple contract negotiations. It's one thing if you don't hit quota numbers because you're not bringing in business, it's another thing when you work hard on a deal bring in contracts only to have Legal tick off the prospect who is ready to sign and lose a deal over very minor T&C issues.
