Thank you for the thoughtful feedback and for being part of Connexus for more than five years. That level of commitment means a great deal to us. We’re glad to hear the supportive culture, leadership, and growth opportunities have made a positive impact on your experience. Operations can definitely become fast paced during high volume periods, so we especially appreciate the recognition of the team environment during those times. We also appreciate your advice regarding communication and transparency. As the company continues to grow, maintaining a strong culture and keeping teams informed will remain a major focus. Thank you again for your continued hard work and for taking the time to share your experience.

Pros

The team leads are all genuinely good people who are great to work with. very understanding and very willing to help! you get to work from home you get the legal minimum benefits

Cons

the pay is an absolute embarrassment. get it together, $13/hour in 2026 is not a livable wage and it is not competitive or fair compensation. there is a LOT of micromanaging going on for nearly every aspect of the job, which causes this feeling that you aren’t trusted to do even basic tasks without real time supervision. everything you do is excessively monitored, logged, and kept track of to an honestly absurd degree; if you are one minute late from break because something comes up, somebody will be DMing you to ask why. if you spend a few minutes after a call to finish your notes correctly (which are required to be very long and detailed, which is why it takes so long!) then somebody will be asking you to explain yourself. everybody including your own boss is massively overworked, team lead or mentorship positions if offered to you are honestly not worth the extra dollar, you will have a workload that really should be 2+ people there are multiple accounts for everything. you have two teams accounts, two email accounts, two company accounts.. and you are expected to keep track of all of them during your shift. about half of your workload is redundant accounts and recordkeeping, ex. typing in the same exact notes across two different platforms. the requirements for these notes is also unnecessarily thorough and far more detailed than it really needs to be; this causes a lot of wasted time, and then you get coached for spending too much time finishing your notes after a call…

Thank you for taking the time to leave such honest feedback. We really appreciate you recognizing the effort and support your team leads provide. Frontline leadership has a huge impact on the day to day experience, and it means a lot to hear they’ve been understanding and helpful. We also hear the frustrations you raised around pay, micromanagement, workload, and communication. Customer service roles can already be demanding, and when systems, processes, and expectations feel excessive or disconnected, it adds unnecessary stress. Your comments about redundant platforms, detailed note requirements, and constant status tracking are valid concerns and the kind of feedback we need to hear. As we continue growing, we know there’s work to do in simplifying processes, improving communication between teams and clients, and creating a better balance between accountability and trust. We also understand the concerns around compensation, especially as cost of living continues to rise. Thank you again for being candid and for continuing to show up and support your team. Feedback like this helps us identify where we need to improve and where we need to do better for our employees.
