Pros

Strong brand in the professional services market.

Cons

Control Risks Business Intelligence practice is, to put it bluntly, a horrible place to work. It’s the textbook definition of a toxic workplace. There’s a normalised culture of exploiting researchers until they burn out. Feedback is communicated in a derogatory and denigrating manner. Overtime is commonplace. Researchers are underpaid, overworked, and actively looking for jobs elsewhere. Yet, exit options are gloom as you will not acquire any useful skills at the firm apart from knowing how to use "" for googling and muckraking. Stay away from Control Risks at all costs. If you’re interested in working in the investigations industry, there are much better companies out there.

Pros

Very system to get accustomed to the world of consulting and part of a very international company. You get to meet a lot of great and very bright individuals.

Cons

Moving up the corporate ladder can take a lot longer than competitors, especially in old departments.
