Pros

Some very talented colleagues Good reputation Opportunities to work globally

Cons

Really poor salaries outside of partnership Some strange culture and colleagues, including sexism, racism Lack of diversity Failed to adapt to the modern world of technology and online services Inability to work across offices, or across service lines Ran by old white guys who don't understand that the world has changed Political risk is a joke. Totally missed the Trump phenomenon, making grand claims that it was literally impossible for him to be elected. They are now claiming to be Trump experts.

Pros

Fascinating work and interesting colleagues. Opportunity to travel on larger projects and with seniority. Can offer the chance to move internationally if that is desired.

Cons

Nothing that isn't true to the rest of the industry: demanding targets and increased competition can lead to high volumes of small scale projects that need to be balanced against larger, more interesting ones.
