Pros
I’ve worked for Costco for [Number of years] years and I have always been treated very well by my manager. When they schedule me to work, they always consider my obligations outside of work, like school and my kids’ events. I’ve been able to make it to almost all of my important events without having to request time off. I really appreciate that they’re willing to work around my schedule.
Cons
I think Costco Wholesale is a great place to work, but the scheduling leaves some to be desired. I understand that part time employees are the backbone of the company, but 25 hours a week isn't enough for me to pay my bills. It's a good thing I love my coworkers, because I often have to work short staffed. That means my shifts feel longer and I don't get nearly as much downtime as I'd like.
