Pros

They finally got food trucks to come for lunch, and you get free dish programming.

Cons

I’ve been with the company long enough to see that this place is in the worst shape its ever been in, the morale of everyone has never been this low, we constantly get asked to do more, work more, and give up time with our families beyond our 40 hours…with nothing in return but more requests for et and stuff. It all starts at the top, the director never comes out of her office, and when she does she looks at everyone like she hates us, as if she’s judging us constantly. She looks at all the girls up and down with such ugly looks, if you cross her, you’ll be on her list forever and good luck after that. Her GM in charge is even worse, this guy thinks he is god almighty, also rarely comes out of his office, usually only to come yell at the managers from the looks of it, or to go to the directors office. He’s usually unprofessional when he does come out of his office, acting like a child. And god forbid you ever end up in one of their offices, they talk to you like you owe them your life for getting to work there. The managers always look so exhausted, a couple times i’ve done et and seen the guy who comes in at 6am there until 6pm. Anytime anyone needs help with a day off or have serious situation, its tell the coach, then they ask the manager, then the manager has to ask the GM, by the time you get an answer back after their 20 meetings, you end up just having to call in sick, why have managers and coaches when they can’t make decisions, the director and gm should just come take our sup calls too. They try to cover up all the bad stuff they do with “hopper bucks”, a reward system where you earn fake money to buy some of the lamest crap I’ve ever seen and they expire before we have time to save up for something not as crappy, like a $10 crock pot. They tell us we can wear jeans, which is cool, but only if you wear a cow shirt, are you serious? Over the years i’ve seen some of these directors come and go, but these two take the cake for the worst i’ve ever seen.

Cons

absolutely no work life balance if your sick tough I had a friend who worked for dish he got called mid shift and told his wife was just diagnosed with cancer the manager told him he'd have to finish his shift before heading to hospital...true story..constantly changing metrics...ifbdish thinks techs have any advantage...they change them I've never worked for a company that truly make it a them against you...sales are the absolute most important item now..u don't hit your sales objective..its not a goal dish..you will be fired although they still don't state that to new hires they still say you have the opportunity to offer services...not so...complete lack of relationship from tech to call center (overseas) they have no clue what's going on and set up bogus work orders that. there are no fixes for...you will work in any weather....I mean ANY...pouring rain? can't get good signal? guess what...that's your fault dish is taking it out of your pay....
