Pros

There are few to speak of, the closest I can get to a pro is if you have a good week, you'll get a nice check (assuming they haven't changed the commission structure again).

Cons

So many. They have people with Bachelor's Degree's, and previous management experience working the phones there, and yet they promote 23 year olds who have their GED, and no management experience. They change commission plans often, dangle unattainable carrots in front of your face promising you riches and huge returns... then you realize they are unattainable. They make you work for the better shifts, so even if you signed on saying, this is the shift I can work, they don't care. They'll eventually go back on their word and move you to a night shift, or something. Their health insurance is laughable at best! They pride themselves as a Fortune 250 company but at like Pic n Save when it comes to how they treat their employees. Their is NO symbiotic relationship between the employees and the employer, and the new CEO is a good ole boy who believes it's "Just one more": or get the hell out. PLEASE DO NOT WORK THERE! DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THEIR SERVICES, it is a DEPLORABLE place to work. I couldn't get out of there fast enough.

Pros

Decent pay Free DISH clothing and nick-nacks

Cons

Terrible hours and shifts. Profit sharing is close to non existent now, even though you are still hitting the same $300+ million profit every quarter. Mandatory overtime forced all the time, even during periods of low call volume. Senior management is too afraid of call queues and will overstaff and waste peoples time and company money with 10-20 minute wait time often. Alvin CSC Management does everything in their power to fudge the numbers, cheat and make themselves look better. They never take ownership of their mistakes or problems. They are always reactionary to issues and never attempt to have a plan before issues become major. The only time they attempt a fix is after a few phone calls have come down the pipe telling them to fix something. They also hide a lot and push the management of aspects of "their business" onto other departments. Alvin CSC Director has zero presence in the site, sits in her office reading management books and runs worthless buzzword pep talk meetings which pull Supervisor's away from their teams for 30 minutes multiple times a day.

Pros

Good job, if you like working with your hands and working alone.

Cons

Terrible promotion system, been working there over two years, made "promotion list" over 6 times and never got a promotion. Ever since we've started selling extra services, that is ALL the managers talk about and have lost focus on what our business is all about.
