Pros

They offered a great way to learn the business and had a good understanding of personal and work life. I was promoted 2 times and my managers offered a great vision on how to move up the ladder.

Cons

When things weren't going well, transparency wasn't there. A lot of "need to know" situations occured and often led to new ideas being implemented and not followed through on before a new idea or management philosophy came to the forefront.

Pros

Get to work with some advanced electronics. Outdoor work. No direct constant supervision.

Cons

Management is distrustful of techs. Constant policy changes with no explanation. Advancement has just become much hard due to a policy change. So many safety rules, it can inhibit your ability to due a good job for the customer.

Pros

Once in a while we got to take a break from our phones and go watch presentations, or listen to someone talk. If you get a cool coach (your coach changes often) sometimes they'll let you out early, or won't penalize you for being late. The break room was nice, comfy couches, we were able to use the internet, watch tv or fall asleep. Always meeting new people since so many people work there.

Cons

If you get a not so nice coach, or one that is by nature grumpy and mean, your time there will not be fun. With one of my last coaches it seemed like she was always looking for every little reason to get mad at the employees. The management wasn't really fair. Towards the end when the layoffs started, many good and fair coaches were demoted, while this particular coach kept her position. Definitely unfair, as if being cruel to employees was encouraged. Also spanish language teams were treated with much more lenience than english language teams. Spanish speakers were consistently late logging in, and their coaches would 'fix' their times so it wouldn't count against the employees. English only people had three times and you got a write up if they did that. I sense some reverse discrimination?
