      Pros

      Opportunity is always around the corner for anyone that is willing to put in the intense effort for less compensation and recognition. As long as you can survive on the pride found internally, it is a very rewarding place to grow.

      Cons

      Overall compensation is far less than the competition.

      Pros

      The people at DISH are incredible - smart, get it done individuals. I'm honored to work with them. Also, it is a great place to start a career. People get great experiences and opportunities that you won't find in other beginning jobs.

      Cons

      It is hard to move up the ladder. You aren't told that you are capped and can't move up, or what you need to do to move up. There is still an atmosphere of what you do wrong, and not what your strengths are.

      Pros

      Compared to my previous employers, I'm very pleased with how things have gone thus far at DISH. The wage is decent with opportunities to make a lot more through sales bonuses and performance pay. I've already gotten a raise and three bonuses within my first six months working here. DISH has a positive, friendly environment and I actually look forward to work every day now.

      Cons

      There is a lot of micromanagement. It always feels like someone's watching you or listening to you.. because, well... they are. I can see where somebody with a short attention span or poor time management could get in trouble working here; it's a job where every second counts, no matter what you're doing. It's also difficult dealing with some of the more ignorant/abusive/illiterate customers... of which you will find there are many.
