Pros

Steady paycheck from a large company. Generally there's overtime available. Free satellite TV!

Cons

Techs are always compared by performance metrics which can be difficult to meet. Bonuses depend on performance and expectations are very high. Do not think that this is the kind of job you can sleep through.

Pros

You work and therefore you get a paycheck which means you can put food on the table. You have access to DISH services at a discounted cost.

Cons

you work for DISH which is to say that you work for a company that for two years running has been named the worst company in America to work for by Wall Street Journal

Pros

the building is nice, there are some occasional perks like TV studio hosted parties

Cons

the turn around rate for EVERY department is INSANE, management has issues. BIGGEST issue: during the yearly reviews it is IMPOSSIBLE to score great, even if you are a great and model employee. Management is told that giving someone excellent marks shows bad on THEM because it means they didn't push them hard enough - so no one ever gets a great review, only moderately good ones.
