Pros

Lots of opportunities Competitive pay Very good benefits Work with smart people

Cons

New set of leaders has eroded the culture and they aren’t receptive to feedback Layoffs are accompanied by pathetic severance offers Structural inequity but management isn’t interested Too much change simultaneously without a measured approach

Typical Corporate America

Pros

The employees at the lower level of the company are great.

Cons

Danaher bought out a small company and it was like being a boiling frog with all the changes they made. What was once a family feel turned into a company ran on numbers and metrics with no disregard to the story behind the numbers. Multiple re-organizations within a few year timeframe where they cut the fat each time. Their severance agreements are a joke and despite being a billion dollar company - will do anything to save a buck and do not care for their employees.

Pros

Decent Benefits, a very strong stock. Large portfolio of well known companies under the Danaher umbrella. Pay is in line with industry.

Cons

Employees are over driven by way too many ineffective processes, a good portion of which are not applicable to the business unit. HR is extremely biased towards certain individuals to he point of turning a blind eye to problematic employees. Everything is about the bottom line. Innovation is not encouraged if there is a cost involved. Stress levels very high.
