      Pros

      The best reason at this point in our economic conditions, is that I feel fairly confident that I can keep my job.

      Cons

      It has become impossible for management within a Danaher company to make any decisions or "run" their company on their own. The Corporate management is micro-managing everything! The "spread" of funds over ALL companies, makes it difficult to do anything when you could be doing better "on your own".

      Pros

      Many internal companies to transfer to, however, there is minimal management support to transfer to other locations or companies.Large company with many opportunities for learning, growing and training. The best thing about working there is the size of the company and the discounts we receive from companies like craftsman and Fluke.

      Cons

      A lot political non-sense internally and incompetent middle and upper management, Danaher corporate has alot good ideas and really tries to incorporate companies they purchase into the DBS, however, old manangement has a hard time correctly adapting the DBS concepts and quickly delegates blame to cover up their own mistakes.

      Pros

      The Danaher Benefit package is very good, employees have the ability to purchase company stock with their 401K plan. PTO time off is very generous

      Cons

      understaffed IT department for some work sites, some work sites only have 1 single IT staff member onsite which makes it difficult to take PTO time off. Some worksites do not have someone onsite if they are within driving distance of another work site.
