Pros
Lots of great opportunities. Can move around to different divisions to gain a broader knowledge the business. Opportunities for overseas assignments as well. Company back into a growth phase. People with good project skills do well here. Sales teams are a great way to learn the various software tools. People who start on the inside and move to an AE (outside) position have an advantage over AE's who come from other companies directly to an AE position at Dell.
Cons
Long hours are more the norm. Career pathing more up to the individual in many divisions. Some areas facing cuts as Dell moves to shed some non-sales positions.
