      Pros

      Just as mentioned in the title, if you perform very well, management will work to keep you and thus compensate you for your skills. Great people are working at Dell! They have a good heart and they mean well.

      Cons

      For the same reason of the pros, it can mean a lot of overtime work and lack of work/life balance....work has to become your life. Do note, my experience in my team may not be the same as people in other teams.

      Working in the 3PP Operations group: Plenty of escalations to keep you busy Can be repetitive at times

      Cons

      Lots of layoffs in the past few years, can be stressful since certain groups are getting new managers yearly and are getting split up or let go.
