      Great People and Work Environment

      Pros

      Great people to work with. Company is really good at providing employees with good computers, monitors and other tools they need to get their job done. Complementary drinks and snacks in a nice break room. Good benefits. Mostly good clients. And a great work/life balance.

      Cons

      Having to comply with all the strict Sarbanes-Oxley regulations since they are part of a bigger organization that does tax and audit work. Mandatory training that is irrelevant to the work this part of Deloitte performs.

      - relaxed environment - colocated agile teams - great work/life balance

      Cons

      - broken promises from leadership - uncompetitive salaries for tech - high attrition rate (1 per week, out of ~130) - feast and famine project pipeline - expecting a large exodus of senior folks in February when retaining bonuses expire

      Pros

      Fairly loose and polite environment. Average pay for the region. Office perks like often snacks and free coffee. External devices can use wifi.

      Cons

      Non challenging work load, weird hours policies ( likely the fault of my recruiter). EIther I am a salary employee, and when I am here is a matter for meetings as long as my workload shows completion, or I am hourly and then you can worry about every minute of my physical presence. Was here 2 weeks with no machine, and another 1 1/2 weeks with no code access. I was paid for the time, but I felt like I was wasting effort, when all I can do is study documentation until I get working components.
