Pros

Good Employee benefits and some very good people to work with.

Cons

Some 80s style mangers and attitudes still prevail in London despite the corporate hype stated. If you are in Operations, beware of Offshoring your job to subsdiuaries in Birmingham or Bangalore

Pros

Top level management are making the right kind of noises about expansion in the US market and mid to long term strategy.

Cons

-Too much politics -Not hiring the right kind of people needed to take the bank forward -It's more who you know than what you do to go far

Pros

- Excellent people to work with - Pay isn't bad, bonuses were pretty generous given current market flux and conditions

Cons

- Lots of bureacracy and hierarchy issues to deal with - Lots of turnover due to credit crisis - Hard to move around within as positions are never posted on intranet
