Pros

Good balance of work and personal life Very Hands-on (job allows opportunities learn and expand your knowledge of the different products) Very structured yet laid back environment

Cons

Difficult to get promotions and very competitive for managemnt roles. Bonus compensations is poor, especially for people who has dedicated much of their time to the co. Its a very "who you know" rather than "what you do" to gain promotions or recognition.

Pros

Good work-life balance. Advancement opportunties.

Cons

If your not based in North America or UK - then can be significantly more difficult to get ahead. At senior mgmt level - form over substance seems to win. Issue at the front line do not seem to make it up through the food chain. Promos seem to be geared to UK/US

Pros

The bank is very competitive in mainland China. If you want to learn more about banking business and do not care about heavy workload, go ahead.

Cons

The compensation is varied greatly according to different levels. It is difficult to get promotion. So life there is a little bit hard
