Pros

Nothing really . Never enjoyed it .

Cons

I hated it coz I was bullied left right and center by my fellow colleagues. I have never got over it . I had to leave in a bad way . Made an excuse not just to come back. I felt isolated and bullied by all the ladies at the front desk . I worked there in 2014 and left within few months. No patience in staff and no training support . I could be the only one coz of one reason . I hope things have now changed

Pros

Hotel benefits, high capacity, high traffic all year, bar closes at 11pm. I lost 20 lbs from the stress.

Cons

Worst management I’ve ever experienced in 10 years bartending. They have no idea what they’re doing. Immature and passive aggressive. Super unprofessional and very disappointing. After working there for a month and loving it, they started to assign responsibilities that were not part of my job including room service and serving in the restaurant. Very little transparency. I felt like I was being led to believe I was working one job in reality, they were spreading me across multiple positions making my shifts impossible.

Pros

- Benefits: great health options and HR/Corporate very informative; also dental, vision, etc. - 401k Company Match Contribution - 7 Paid (Time & a Half) Holidays - PTO: accrues and weights itself for long-term employees; plus Cashout Program End of the Year; Salaried Employees get 8 Hours (=1 Day) PTO for working 6 Days in a week; 16 Hours for 7 Days

Cons

- 401k Company Match Contribution information not as easily accessible/discussed as health benefits - Sick Time uses Accrued PTO rather than already being accounted for - PTO: Cashout Program could be more informative; Salaried Employees get little-to-no time to take said Paid Time Off - Understaffed and inherently Overworked (Salaried) Employees - Hesitation to give Hourly Employees Overtime
