      Pros

      - Duo hires amazingly talented, intelligent and fun people - Core values: Learning Together, Kinder Than Necessary, and Engineering the Organization - Upper and middle management are transparent, understanding, helpful, and aim to help you grow with the company - Company is doing very well (check the financials that were released recently) and I expect it to continue to do so - The work/life balance is excellent and there are people of all different lifestyles - Open PTO policy, with a recruiter's note that you were expected to take at least 15 days - Interview process was the best I've experienced - Free RoosRoast coffee, Calder Dairy chocolate milk, every method of brewing coffee under the sun, LaCroix, snacks and fruits - Promotes learning with conference budgets, free books, online courses, and talks

      Cons

      - Very fast-paced and the culture changes rapidly, but the entire team has done an excellent job steering the culture - Benefits can always be improved, but Duo's are adequate - There's not a lot to add. The company is fairly large and it can be difficult to keep up with everything, especially when you've just joined, but Duo is a wonderful company and I'm proud to be working here.

      Pros

      Duo is a great place where high-performers can do awesome work and have fun at the same time. Here, culture is not just idealistic words on paper--it is lived. Our cofounders are inspiring. The energy is contagious. Love it.

      Cons

      We're an established start up, so there are still some growing pains, but feedback is regularly solicited and actions are taken to move forward.

      Intense Startup with a great culture

      Pros

      Duo is a fast growing company with operations in Michigan, California and soon in the UK. It's a collaborative environment with a lot of innovation happening in the product, in security and also in marketing and sales. The company has raised a round of investment capital and can continue to expand, creating opportunities for employees who can take on more. The offices are nice and people are very friendly and supportive. And there's budget for employee development, training, and books so you can learn new things.

      Cons

      Because the company is growing fast, not everyone can keep up. If you want to come in and maintain the status quo, this is not the place. There's an intensity to working in a startup and you have to love that. If you want a committee meeting on every decision, look elsewhere. Also, with the new management, the bar is higher than it was previously. Not everyone can keep up. But those who are willing to step up will find themselves in a great position to learn and do more.
