Pros

Great atmosphere to meet new people and build a career in public accounting. Very social setting and great place to easily develop the first 5 years of a career but also easy to plateau.

Cons

Great atmosphere to meet new people and build a career in public accounting, however, starting on the consulting side leaves limited development outside of a change to advisory work elsewhere in big 4. Very social setting and great place to easily develop the first 5 years of a career but also easy to plateau.

The work can be very tedious at times and some teams idea of life work balance is working from home on a Sunday.
