Pros

-brand -established clients -great starting pay/benefits for entry-level accountants -support for the CPA exam, CPA bonus, etc. -training -good opportunities for mobility; EY has an office in every major city

Cons

-expected to be able to work 65+ hrs/week any time during the year, not just busy season. Expect this to happen almost every week. -no comp time for overtime hours worked -roundtable system flawed. A "5" will get pushed down to a "4" during roundtables, a "4" to a "3", etc.

Pros

Flexible work schedule, well known company, some nice travel opportunities if you are lucky enough to land them, team lunches (yes, sometimes you do get a free lunch)

Cons

Hours (like any big 4), Salary is probably the worst of all big 4, no bonuses unless promotion and no salary adjustment for promotions
