Pros

Ernst & Young is definitely a place to launch your career. It will help you build your knowledge foundation on different types of industries and it will open plenty of doors for you when you're ready to leave public accounting for the private sector. The training and exposure you'll obtain from Ernst & Young are invaluable. You will also meet great mentors and friends.

Cons

Although the experience is great at Ernst & Young, the hours and the resources are the downside of working at any public accounting firms. As a result, employees of any public accounting firm generally sacrifice their own personal lives.
