Pros

Good option for those looking to make a break into management/tech consulting. When staffed, preferably on an assignment that requires travel, you will be afforded an opportunity to work with others outside of your local office network and be able to gain client-facing experience, develop core consulting skills, and work on interesting work.

Cons

Lack of projects, low pay, mundane center-based work, internal “budget" cuts/constraints, non-existent work culture, low pay, career mobility, and low pay were huge detrimental factors. Everyone is either simply existing, slowly fading out, or complaining due to the aforementioned reasons. Some counselors do not even bother to take advantage of their "use it or lose it" activity budget. If you’re willing to accept these terms in hope of furthering a career in consulting, I’d recommend to stay for 1-1.5 but absolutely no more than 2 years.
