Pros

The benefits are great and the holiday and vacation days are generous.

Cons

If you work for Element, you can expect to do the job of 2-3 people, especially in customer-facing positions. This is not an exaggeration. There is currently a great deal of turnover, which leads to additional workload and new people who simply aren't up to speed, which also creates more workload. There are also supply chain issues in the industry beyond Element's control that drastically affect employees and customers. I can't over emphasize the stress of working here. You will not have work-life balance, so know that going in. Even though the company offers ample time off, there aren't enough people to cover vacations so you can expect to come back to angry customers and more work than you can ever catch up on. Most people work during their time off. The company over-promises what can realistically be delivered with current staffing levels and technology.

Pros

Fun environment, lots of social activities, free breakfast or lunch once a month, depending on your manager they are flexible when you need time off for appointments, etc. Annual bonus. Most are able to work from home when desired. Christmas off. Great clients.

Cons

Workload is unmanageable more times than it should be, expected to do so much more than your pay or job description matches. Too much inconsistency in the way things are done, everyone seems to have a different way of doing the same thing that often leads to confusion. Management makes a lot of quick decisions without thinking everything through and/or informing/questioning departments that can be affected, then there is a mad scramble to clean up issues that should have been taken care of or addressed before the quick decisions were made.
