      Low stress. Good work/life balance. More of a family culture.

      Cons

      Very very slow cycles. Got extremely bored. Lost touch with updated technology as backend data was decades old.

      Pros

      Ellucian is an interesting company to work for in the sense that if you are placed in the right site and have a great working relationship with your peers and managers, it can be a dream. Pay/benefits are great... again based on the site you're in

      Cons

      very limited upward movement if you are in the wrong site. Also, you feel fairly detached from the main company

      This is a company in transition from multiple companies with a range of products to , a medium sized company The management is determinedly building a corporate culture with more modern evaluations techniques, open management and employee development.

      Cons

      The above is still in development and not supported by Middle Management, given the business model of maximizing quarterly returns.
