      Pros

      better than sleeping on a heating grate in the winter.

      Cons

      No chance of promotion, as you'll watch clueless managers brought in from other fields with no knowledge of higher ed flounder while you pick up the pieces. No one has ever been promoted to a managerial title from within the company. Limited raises, as the company pays back the hedge fund owners. "maybe next year" is a constant refrain

      Great company to work for, good compensation but very hard working

      Pros

      Compensation good, benefits ok. New culture and values are excellent and have actually gone viral within the workplace. The company has a very good growth mindset. Huge amount of autonomy.

      Cons

      Workload is huge, can be long hours to keep up. Sometimes feels like vacations are pointless because you have to work twice as many hours on return to catch up. Can be difficult building relationships when everyone is so dispersed.
