Great coworkers - helpful with extremely deep domain knowledge Acceptable salary and benefits package Starting to develop a vision for the future that's been lacking following the SGHE/Datatel merger

Cons

Long work hours - frequent "required overtime" has eaten many weekends Lack of carry-over vacation from year to year makes planning difficult Near constant pressure to do more with less time and fewer resources

Work at home position. It was great before the merger now it going downhill slowly everyday.

Cons

Work /Life Balance decline. The constant reorgs with the company ( They have had 3-4 over the last 2 years, so many I am lost count) Movement of incompetent people into management roles. Management assigning last minute projects that they want done with 24 hour notice or a short-time frame constantly. Employee Morale is declining due to layoffs which are forcing current staff to be overworked with limited resources. Alot of good skilled employees have left the company. Employee Benefits are not to good since the merger.
