      Dedicated and empathetic team of Sales professionals, services delivery providers and consultants

      Cons

      Too much focus on delivery of new/innovative software rather than determined focus on getting client's ERP to current release status to ensure less difficulty when installing and running Ellucian's best in class deliverables.

      Great customers. Great mission. Enjoyed my time at the company but see below:

      Cons

      No one tells the truth. Executives don't want to hear the truth. Cloud Strategy is a joke and just window-dressing for Workday competitive deals. Turn over in the sales team tells you that people see through the story. People have lost confidence and can't keep lying to the customers. Roadmap transparency used to be a great sales point, now we're hiding the roadmaps. Customers see through this. We have a long way to go to hit the numbers, stop making promises to the investors you know can't be met. Time to go...

      Pros

      Flexible hours. People who work in the trenches are the best of the best. Company does try ans stay up on the latest technology.

      Cons

      The company as a whole is growing. However if you are a developer in the US be very cautious about your decision to join Ellucian. The R & D organization is investing heavily on growing their organization in India so there will be limited new positions and growth in the US. As of right now there has not been any layoffs of US employees, but it is only a matter of time.
