      Great Manager, but incompetence with top management

      Pros

      My manager was great. He called me out when I wasn't doing my job correctly, and he gave me all the credit when I got my act together and begin excelling at the job.

      Cons

      The onsite C.I.O. was a paper pusher and a politician, and was relatively incompetent in managing personnel or technical issues.

      Pros

      As a provider of ERP software for educational institutions, you feel like you're contributing to a worthwhile cause - improving student and faculty experience. There is a lot to do an no lack of projects to complete.

      Cons

      There seems to be a negative energy at Ellucian. It feels connected to the history of acquisitions and layoffs in the past.
