Pros

Nice Infrastructure. Nice Food. Nice talent hiring team.

Cons

Year 2013 (India): # Notice period increased from one month to two months in between tenure. When I joined it was one month. I resisted but HR behaved rude. I was stunned by all these but after a few months when I heard that they sold brickred to TPG and I understood what was the game all about. # I wondered when a HR came to my cubical & trolled me in office in front of everyone with a nonsense comment. I wasn't expecting that in the middle of my code & work. # Shocking event when Engineering Manager of company Trolled me! # When I resigned my manager asked me to document the whole code whatever I've written in one year. WOW! Revenge. I denied then he threatened me by not giving me relieving letter. During two months of notice period was extremely disturbing for a geek like me. Comments like "Is it half day today" when I am going to Bank work. I don't understand what managers exactly want, quality of work or behaving like a slave! Client was so happy with my work and when I resigned he and his manager drilled down me to ask the reason why I am leaving the company. What I can say! He ask me that he will take back the project if something is wrong in the work culture but I've not said anything. Anyway after few months client left. I still have those chats by the client. Quality of delivery suffer due to boss behaviour of old employees. Internal politics is so disturbing you can't imagine. If you think that you have out of the box thinking then never waste your time in this company. I hope this blog can save you from wasting your time by joining this company. Because few of those guys are still there in the company. Managers are following survival of the fittest rather than quality of work. This company is best for those who can survive this environment

Thank you for taking out time to write about your views here. As the incidents you quoted above happened a long time ago when the policies and HR team was completely different. Hence, we are not able to connect directly with the issues and can cannot commen upon the way things were going on then but we would be happy to tell you about a few things that might make you feel answered for the above mentioned feeling. Notice period depends upon the job profile and job level in the organization. With increase in level, it increases the time of knowledge transfer. There comes a time when there occurs a need for changing policies and it was the time when you decided to leave the company which was an absolute coincidence and no personal grudges. Also, mergers and acquisitions are a part of any growing business which happened in our case when we acquired Brick Red. HR team or the managers have no intentions of “trolling” anyone. We are an employee centric and a employee friendly organisation and we totally value sentiments. We absolutely respect our employees and value their space. We are an organisation and we love to concentrate on business and our people and not getting into any conversation/situation where our employees feel uncomfortable. We as an organisation believe in providing all the space to our employees. We don’t believe in micro management. We have been awarded the certification of “Great Place to Work” 3 times in a row and have been placed in top 75 companies in terms of work culture. Our managers set their team members free in terms of working style. Getting work done is an art that our managers possess and being on notice period also, employee still remains an employee and hence are expected to deliver what is expected of them. Our employees are a part of our organisation and their growth is our responsibility and not the client’s. Likewise, we do not believe in favoritism and also do not consider biasness from client towards any team member while evaluating anyone. We always think about our employees at the first place and they are our first priority and are of utmost value to us. Managers are very mature and have the capability to understand every individual/situation accordingly. Hence, engrossing themselves in politics is not at all on the list. Our organisation always stands out positively in terms of environment, culture, people management, employee well being and trust. We are happy to be called the employer of choice. Thanks again for writing to us. Please feel free to write at isha.gaur@3pillarglobal.com in case of any more queries. We’ll be more than happy to have a conversation :)
