Pros

Stable job Overseas opportunities Good vacation

Cons

Raises are less than the increases on the insurance. High insurance deductible - jumped to $2000 for the family plan from $1500 last year with the same coverage. No room for growth - in 6 years here no one has ever been promoted from within Management not interested in developing employees even though the goals require you to learn. There is no plan on what you need to learn to be more valuable and management doesn't have time to give input. Many Federal holidays are not company holidays so you have to use PTO or not get paid when the client site is closed, even during blizzards. Morale is very low in my department due to the work load and bad raises, but our supervisor only cares about the call stats, while continually harping about morale being low. Our directory and supervisor completed our performance evaluations last year, only for corporate to lower each person's rating. They use a 9 box system and didn't realize dropping a rating of 2 - exceeds expectations to a 3 resulted in an unsatisfactory rating. When it was pointed out to management their position was that it wouldn't affect our raise so it didn't matter. There is never any positive feedback. The only feedback we hear is when a customer complains. Management does not share any positive comments at all.

Pros

Decent company, good stock plan, good people who want to see you grow

Cons

Very remote management makes things hard, very little team work is locally siloed so its hard for managers to understand the boots on the ground view. Managers are great people but spread very thin, sometimes they accept work before having staff for it(classic consulting move)
