Pros

Office of smart, hard-working employees Flexible schedule Pays for public transit and close to transit Good benefits Fun office culture if you want to get involved Environmentally conscious

Cons

Reactionary management: Style of hiring and firing in reaction to quarterly numbers Decisions made by nameless people three tiers or more up from supervisors who actually know what you are worth Low pay; very small raises; sometimes no bonuses "Billing hours" creates stressful culture when work is less than typical Managers don't seem to know what they are doing: trained scientists, not managers

Pros

Decent company, good stock plan, good people who want to see you grow

Cons

Very remote management makes things hard, very little team work is locally siloed so its hard for managers to understand the boots on the ground view. Managers are great people but spread very thin, sometimes they accept work before having staff for it(classic consulting move)
