Pros
The projects and the people are great. The global nature of the company provides a unique set of experiences for staff. For up and coming engineers, designers, and architects, there are great experiences to be had. Just don't plan to make it a long term career here. Budget cuts and layoffs are an annual way of life.
Cons
The CEO is an accountant and the newly named President is an accountant, but it's not an accounting firm. The bean counters are running one of the world's largest architecture and engineering firms, and they're doing it like... accountants. Since the new management team took control, diversity has gone out the window. Women in leaderships positions have been fired, forced to retire, or left voluntarily. Diversity on the new management team consists of white males who have hair and white males who are bald. Check out the website and you'll see. Google why Michael Burke left KPMG. The pay is generally below market. A lot of fear and intimidation.
