Leadership onshore is great. Some great things are happening all the time. Great CSR, leaves, infra, wfh etc.
Cons
If you can drink and smoke 4-5 hrs non-stop with the team lead you'll be in the good books. You'll get respect, promotion,hike, leaves and what not. Just to survive this place used to drink and smoke like anything . It was appreciated and I used to get respect. The people who worked like donkeys were cornered, bullied and sexual charges were made on them. Due to this fear and to be in the good books of TL I became a chain smoker and alcoholic (not workaholic). There is a lobby of people who drink together in weekend or weekdays, they are the masters of the place. Unlimited breaks,last minute leaves,r&r, personal benefits given to them. AMs don't care whatever you say, they'll criticise you and tag you for being a cultural misfit. A misfit? Is this a company or club? So happily join this place if you can drink, drug a lot else you'll be forced to resign. Else word hard on your skills and join a place with healthy competition, learning curve and growth. I quit my bad habits as soon as I left this place, I am respected for my work and discipline now and not for dark circles and politics.
