Being a big company there are a lot of politics and sometimes progression at the lower levels is achieved thanks to favouritism rather than talent and its very difficult to develop if you are not in the right "circle" . A lot of people have been working for the company for many years and they are somehow protected no matter what they do or don’t which can be demotivating.
It can be a struggle to integrate as a "newbie" because you need to rely on other people and they are not all as friendly and as willing to help as they should. However if you can bear with it until when your are fully competent in your job then you won't regret it.
