Not ideal for employees who are actively seeking career advancement. The performance review system feels unreasonable, as promotion and bonus decisions depend heavily on a People Lead who may not work directly with you. Even if you receive excellent feedback from the actual project team during the same review period, your bonus and promotion can still be negatively affected if the People Lead does not support you.
