Pros
A great place to grow and develope professional skills! This was my first internship, and I definitely think it could not have gone any better. The people are so nice and helpful. Allianz really cares about their employees and their interns, and therefor does all they can to help them grow. There are lots of informative workshops for the interns, that break up the workweak, keep you engaged, and let you get to know more people outside of your department. The company is also very active and socially concious, and regularly has volunteer events, even some the interns can participate in. The facilities are very nice and clean. There are so many good things I could say about this company, and how they have made this a wonderful inten experience. I think the indication of a great internship is if you can leave, seeing yourself working for that company in the future. Working for Allianz again is definitely something that I will want to pursue in the future!
Cons
The hourly rate for interns is okay, but not great. This being my first corporate internship, I think the rate is fair, but if I were closer to grauation or had more experience coming in, I definitely would have tried to negotiate for higher pay.
