Pros
New manager, hopefully, he doesn't circum to the bully tactic.
Cons
So many Cons to count, I thought the department would improve with new leadership. But it hard to get rid of bad blood still running through this department. Mental health is at an all-time high. Even with people working from home. No care for staff. Certain people getting promotions shouldn't have/lacking the ability to be a leader/people person, talking to people (Department screaming crisis) This department pushes people so hard, people are falling apart. No matter how hard you work they push again and again. I've watched one of my colleagues for the last couple of years do everything they ask and more without little help given no credit at all. Even speaking to them since COVID-19 it hasn't stopped their doing more and more. They still do not recognize them, I'm sure the team leader is taking credit for what they do. Aes (What that?) it hard to forget what they haven't done, they don't listen to the staff, only hearing what they want to hear. There greatest skill. I'm just waiting until they bully staff back to the office, it's not like the Management team wouldn't sink that low, We all know they would or maybe they already have. Abuse of power, that's what they know best. Extended to the Christmas holidays yet again. Staff has been told yet again they are not valued and aren't allow to take leave during the holiday season. Choice of holidays in non-existent only mangers get holidays off. I may not be able to go home for the holiday but I still want a few days off to enjoy my time. A good example of this is staff has been told they do not have a choice but to work either the Company day 24th of December or the Saturday before. This is something that had been announced last year never their before. Staff has been told they do not have a choice but to work either the Company day 24th of December or the Saturday before. Bulling staff with a company day is bad form, the 24th of Dec is a company day, That is the day you choose to work it or not, not anything else. Why are we being forced to work on a weekend (Saturday) to replace a company day (Non-work Day) I wasn't been paid for in the first place, so why should we work it? You usually only get the day back if you choose to work it, but in this case, you don't as this is a company day. work the Saturday to get the day for 24th (non-company day) So work the Saturday to not have to come on the 24th (Wait a minute? 24th is company day I don't have to work in any way. Just like good Friday a company day). Why is it that the Dublin office has so little value/respect for their staff and their holidays when other offices such as China and Qatar are closed for there own public holiday's. This is more insulting toward the staff in the Dublin office. Constantly feeling the need to defend yourself against the managers/supervisors, Nothing has changed, they go a great lent to devalue any hard work their teams do. HR do nothing, you say something their goes your PMAD at the end of the year no bonus.
