Pros
Great colleagues and fun (yet stressful) atmosphere.
Cons
Very poor work/life balance that you will not be compensated for. You will be expected to work a minimum of 45 hours per week and will likely get some nasty looks if you take any vacation or sick days during a busy time of year. Your busy time of year will depend on the clients you work with, so you might not be able to take a day off all summer or might have short holiday vacations depending on where you land. The benefits are decent; typical for today's standards, but they are definitely not premium benefits. Expect the company to shift most of the health care premium cost increases to you each year. Promotions and raises are very subjective and largely depend on the manager you are assigned to. There are NO processes in place to ensure your manager is doing their due diligence interviewing the people you work with when filling out your review. Aon Benfield creates great analysts, but they do not create good managers. Managers are just analysts strapped for time that fill out your review at the last minute.
