Pros
This is a great entry level job to get your foot in the door in the field of defined benefits and can help you gain experience to move forward in your career. It's also just a good way to gain general work experience. I have had positive experiences with management, and they are willing to work with you to help you through your tasks/ project. The culture of the company is fantastic. They do emphasize in growing you if you are willing to put in the effort, work, and time.
Cons
This department faces high turnover and can result in you receiving more work than you can handle. This job demands the stamina to talk to people about their pensions daily. It can get frustrating and tiring, which is probably the biggest driving force in the high turnover rates of this job. You'll be frequently interrupted in doing your on going work to answer these calls and that, on its own, is frustrating.
