Pros

Get to work with talented people, decent benefits (not pay), and opportunities for growth depending on the client teams you are assigned (each team and office can be different though).

Cons

Long hours, low pay (friends at other companies with similar number of exams and experience were making over 5 thousand more a year while working significantly less hours), work life/balance does not exist at lower levels, some of the upper level consultants are only in their position for "sticking it out" rather than being a top performer.

Pros

Good support and good people

Cons

Large company does mean that Tech/HR support usually involves an 800 number and call center.

Pros

Great role to transition into the insurance industry. Many resources and opportunities to expand technical knowledge. Client visits are great if you like to travel. Lucky to have a manager who doesn’t micromanage. If you’re organized, driven, and good at communicating you’ll do great.

Cons

Can be stressful at times around busy renewal cycles. Travel often depending on industry and clients.
